Community Waikato has been monitoring the MOH guidelines around reducing the risk of spreading covid-19. Like other organisations, we have a number of staff who have immunocompromised dependents at home so are taking internal measures to protect our staff and their families and the community generally while still delivering our service with community organisations. In support of this we will be using online options such as ZOOM to deliver our workshops. Full information about this and any related information will be made available as soon as practical.
While we do intend to deliver workshops this year, we are not taking registrations for any workshops (apart from the Cogs workshops in April) until we have clarity around appropriate ways to deliver the workshops and/or have developed online versions. If you have any questions please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Community Waikato Professional Learning Workshops
Professional Learning workshops is one of the services Community Waikato makes available to and on behalf of the tangata whenua, community and voluntary social service sector in the Waikato region. This is an important capacity building component of our service and of significant benefit to organisations within the sector. Along with training we also support many other forums, workshops and events. Keep an eye on our calendar for items of interest to you and your organisation.
PLEASE NOTE: Please do not park in Community Waikato’s staff parking area. There is a coin only pay and display HCC carpark next door with limited parking available ($4 per day) and a parking building round the corner in Knox Street ($6 per day). There is a bus stop right outside the building.
