AI for Good: Practical AI Skills for Community Organisations

  • Settlement Centre 46G Boundary Road Hamilton, Waikato Region, 3214 New Zealand (map)

Presented by Rachel Duckworth

A hands on workshop designed for community professionals ready to work smarter with AI

Curious about AI but not sure where to start, or whether it's even relevant to your organisation? This practical, jargon-free workshop is designed specifically for people working in the community sector.

In two hands-on hours, you'll learn how to use AI confidently and ethically to support the work you do every day, from writing funding applications and reports to promoting your community programmes more effectively.

You'll gain hands-on experience with prompting, learn to spot hallucinations, and develop the critical thinking skills to know what AI should and shouldn't be doing in your organisation, all while keeping real human judgement at the centre.

Come ready to try things, ask questions, and leave with skills you can use the very next day.
