|Director / Strategic Engagement Specialist
After more than a decade in senior public management positions Amanda left Local Government to establish ‘The Stakeholder Agent’ in 2016. With a background in Public Relations and Project Management, dealing with numerous partners, clients and the community at large, her expertise, strategic thinking and down to earth approach make stakeholder engagement as easy as breathing.
Known for her drive and results focus, she now consults and contracts on matters of community collaboration, partnership design, project coordination and of course stakeholder engagement and communication.
Amanda is also involved in a number of regional organisations, including board positions on Creative Waikato and Community Waikato. She is well connected and has an understanding of small business having historically been a business mentor and the Chief Executive of the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce.
After completing a Bachelor of Education, she undertook graduate studies in Public Relations, later completing a Master of Public Management with Victoria University, so is well versed on the workings of government, necessary processes and valuable relationships to foster in the public sector.
On a personal note Amanda and her husband have two gorgeous wee boys who they spend most of the weekend running after while trying to fit in a bike ride on the Waikato River Trails, some gardening and firing up the pizza oven for good measure.
