- The DIA also administers the Community Internship Programme (CIP). This programme allows a skilled, experienced person to temporarily leave their permanent job, for a period of up to 6 months, and work as an 'intern' for community organisation. The intern's salary is provided to the host community organisation by funding from the CIP.
