  Community Waikato are Tindall Regional Funding Managers. The Tindall Foundation has a unique funding model whereby Regional Funding Managers give out a significant portion of their donations on their behalf. The Tindall Foundation says “Regional Funding Managers are existing organisations that support community and social services across the country who use their considerable expertise and local knowledge to allocate funding. They give out donations on our behalf to local organisations within the Tindall Foundation Supporting Families and Social Services Programme Area”

The Community Waikato Tindall Funding round opens early August (previously September) and closes mid-September (previously October) of each year. We distribute approximately $100,000.00 annually and approximately 40 grants of around $1000 to $5000 are made.
